In automated support, your bot is the frontline of your brand. But for a long time, UltimateGPT gave customers very little say in how that bot actually sounded. A handful of preset tones and response lengths, none of which felt quite right. Bot Persona changes that, letting customers talk to their AI the way they would brief a new team member, telling it exactly how to behave, what to say and what to avoid.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
The frustration was real. Stuck in a one-size-fits-all box, customers were forced to build workarounds just to make their bot sound like their brand. Complex scripted dialogues, stitched together to compensate for what the platform couldn't do natively. The result was bots that were harder to manage, more expensive to run and slower to launch. And when the bot still didn't represent the brand well enough, customers walked and found a competitor that gave them more control.
GOAL
Provide users with the tools they need to fully control their AI bots personality and tone of voice without requiring complex workarounds or additional support.
SOLUTION
We replaced rigid toggles with a three level customization framework. This allows users to move beyond generic responses and "scripted" workarounds, giving them the tools to build a persona that is truly native to their brand.
01. Bot details
Users can now define the bot’s name, the specific company it represents, and a dedicated business profile. This ensures that when a customer asks, "What do you actually do?" the AI provides a tailored, brand-accurate summary instead of a vague hallucination.

02. Flexible Tone of Voice
While we still provide optimized presets for speed, we’ve removed the "four-tone" ceiling. If our presets don't fit, users have a free-text field to prompt their own unique voice, whether that’s "high-energy and emoji-friendly" or "strictly technical and academic."

03. Pronoun Formality
To solve the "robotic" feel in localized markets, we’ve introduced specific controls for pronoun formality. This is a game-changer for languages like German, where the bot can now be strictly instructed to use the formal Sie for professional services or the informal du for lifestyle brands, ensuring cultural alignment.
